Hello, my name is Pernell Maroon.  I have been married to Becky (the woman God chose for me) since 1984.  We are blessed with two children, Josh and Whitney. 

I was born again in 1983, and have been a member of Family Worship Center since 1998.  I have been involved with the youth group for most of that time.  I took the position of Youth Pastor in September of 2004. 
I believe the youth of today are the Joshua and Caleb's of this generation.  They are the ones who will stand upon God's Word and not fret about the obstacles that lie before them because they know where their help comes from.  I believe this is the generation that will take us into the promised land.  My desire is to help them have a relationship with the Lord that is so real and so strong that when they go through the fire that they will come out on the other side without any harm.  I want to help them come into a love relationship with the Lord that is so strong that they can trust Jesus and praise Him through all their trials.  I want to see them come through those trials with fire in their eyes and praise on their lips.  I want to be a part of raising up a people that will not bow to this world and will no compromise the true Word of God.  I want to see them stand up with their heads held high and say, "I belong to JESUS CHRIST and I will serve Him to the end without fear."
