Isaac Walker

Founder / Senior Pastor

Bio: Pastor Walker has been in the ministry for over 30 years.  He established Family Worship Center in Cleveland, TN in 1981 and has served as senior pastor of the church since its formation.  Pastor Isaac and his wife Mildred work as a team in the ministry of the church and have two sons and four grandchildren.  FWC is a missions oriented church with a heart for those in need.  Pastor Isaac's anointed preaching will bless and inspire you!

After more than a decade of short-term ministry trips throughout the Philippines, Pastor Walker recognized a great need to establish a training center to prepare national ministers in all phases of ministerial work.  As a result Pastor Walker founded Leyte Gulf Bible College on the island of Leyte, Philippines.  The college is fully accredited and has trained hundreds of students who have now established over 300 churches in Southeast Asia.

With a heart for missions, Pastor Walker now serves as missions director for Christ Fellowship International, an organization formed to aid in the coordination of ministers to further the spread of the gospel both at home and abroad.

Danny Emerson

Associate Pastor / Praise & Worship Leader 

Bio:  Danny Emerson has been with Family Worship Center for 16 years and serves not only as associate pastor but also as praise & worship leader.  He has been in ministry for 37 years, beginning as youth leader at the Full Gospel Church of God in Silvis, IL.  At the age of 17, Danny began leading praise & worship for the H. Richard Hall Revival Crusades.  Prior to joining Family Worship Center, he pastored for 10 years at Abundant Life Church in Cleveland, TN.

Mary King

Business Administrator

Jeff and Sharon Chilton

Childrens Pastors

Bio:  Jeff and Sharon Chilton have been the Kid’s Church Pastors for Family Worship Center for the past 12 years. Jeff and Sharon enjoy working with children to share the good news of Jesus Christ and teaching children wonderful stories and life principles from the Bible. Jeff and Sharon teach a lively Kid’s Church service filled with Praise and Worship, Bible Lessons, Object Lessons, Games, Prayer Requests, and Praise Reports each Sunday other than Mission Sundays. Jeff and Sharon are also involved in the Sunday School programs and all areas of children’s ministries.  Jeff and Sharon reside in Dalton, GA.

Pernell Maroon

Youth Pastor

Bio:  Pernell Maroon has pastored the youth of Family Worship Center since September 2004.  His desire is for the young people of Cleveland to have a true relationship with Christ that will take them through their many trials with praise on their lips and hope in their hearts.  Soon after becoming a member of FWC in 1998 he became actively involved in the youth program.  He and his wife Becky have two children, Josh and Whitney.  Pernell also has two grandchildren, Keara and Kemara.

Shannon Barrs

Associate Youth Pastor

Bio:  Shannon and his wife Charity have one daughter named Lydia. Shannon was born in Knoxville TN, and served in the Marine Corps for four years. He fully surrendered his life to Jesus Christ February of 2010, while in the Samaritan House. Shannon fought a four year battle with drug addiction, but God miraculously delivered him.

Shannon has been the associate youth pastor since September 2011.
